Ford Park Cemetery Trust
Cemetery of Choice
Cemetery of Choice
The Trust holds public guided walks throughout the year. These can be on popular topics such as Victorian Symbolism or based on one of the exhibitions held in the Visitor Centre. Among the varied topics covered in the past, there have been walks based around each of the two world wars, on fair and circus families and on shipwrecks around Plymouth.
For details of this year's walks see our Events Calendar.
The Cemetery is rich in wildlife and there are walks at different times of the year where you can discover more about the plants, insects and birds to be found in this urban wildlife oasis.
The Heritage Team also arrange private walks for both large and small groups. These can be on various aspects of the history of the Cemetery or the individuals buried here. It is also possible to tailor walks to suit individual interests such as military history or urban life.
If you are interested in organising a private walk please telephone the Cemetery Office on 01752 665442 or email info@ford-park-cemetery.org
