The book Falling Angels by Tracy Chevalier is the inspiration for this guided walk around the historic quarter of Ford Park Cemetery to discover symbolism and social class division in the memorial designs.

Starting promptly at 6.30pm from the Victorian Chapel the walk which last about 45 minutes and be led by trustee Wendy Coulton. 

You will get more out of this experience if you read this book first, but it is not essential. It may suit reading groups to attend because there will be an opportunity afterwards to discuss the book and what you have seen on the walk.

Tickets cost £8 each which is for the walk and light refreshments afterwards.

You can pay cash on the day or phone in advance to the cemetery office and pay by card over the phone and book your place.

Stout footwear is advisable and unfortunately this walk will not suit children or visitors with poor mobility.
