A thirty four acre working cemetery in the heart of the city of Plymouth. Founded in 1848 now owned and managed by the Ford Park Cemetery Trust, a company limited by guarantee with charitable status.

Ford Park Cemetery offers you a wide range of services from burials and memorials to wakes, exhibitions and guided themed tours of the beautiful grounds. All within a peaceful and historic setting in the heart of the City. You can download a copy of our current 2024 Events leaflet here.

The Trust manages the grounds to balance the needs of a working cemetery with the need to protect and enhance the wide variety of plant and wildlife. The cemetery also promotes the rich history of Plymouth and the Victorian grave symbolism.

We depend on income from burial services, grants, donations and the support of the Friends of Ford Park Cemetery and volunteers. If you can help in any way please see How You Can Help page or click on the Donate button below. For more information on the work of the Friends, click on the link above.

The Trust wish to make Choice central to our services. Please look at our site for details of our services, contact our office or simply visit the cemetery to enjoy its unique environment and history. If you bring your dog, please respect the cemetery and ensure that it is kept on a lead at all times and any mess is picked up.
