Busy modern day life has scattered families across the globe and it is not always practical for families to carry out the maintenance of graves themselves. Ford Park Cemetery Trust employs a team of maintenance staff who carry out a professional range of services for individuals, as well as a contract on behalf of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

Our Grounds Manager Dave Wickett is on hand to listen to what a client needs and can afford and will offer them a range of options.

As well as providing a valued service which families appreciate us doing on their behalf, maintenance contracts provide a source of income for the charitable trust which owns and manages the site. The more maintenance contracts placed with our Trust the more resources there are to ensure the cemetery is tidy, safe and improved as a beautiful green open space in the heart of the city.

The Trust can provide the following services:-

• Maintenance packages ranging from grass graves (minimum of 10 cuts a year) at £40 per year and gravelled graves (minimum 10 grass cuts a year and an annual washing of gravel in the autumn) of £60 per year to cleaning and maintenance of gravel or stone graves and headstones and kerbs at £70 per year
• Digital photo and report on monumental masonry towards the end of the growing season in October for £6.50
• Repair and restoration of monuments in-house or by qualified external monumental masons. Quotations are available on request.
• Long term maintenance contracts for 10 years or more. Please contact us for more details.
