Ford Park Cemetery is managed by the Trust as a working cemetery. The Trust is committed to restoring this special place to its former position as one of the principal burial places in the city. We believe this can be achieved by offering families a wide choice and the best possible service and by creating a landscape of great beauty which honours all who are buried at Ford Park.

We have over 10,000 spaces available and provide a friendly, professional and flexible service for bereaved families planning funerals. Our cemetery office and grounds maintenance staff will listen to what clients would like and will do their very best to ensure that arrangements meet the clients wishes.

We endeavour to offer a wide choice in terms of the location, price, type of memorialisation, the length of burial right, the chapel service arrangements and the ongoing maintenance.

We value our relationship with members of the funeral business community and have improved the infrastructure of the cemetery grounds to ensure it is fit for purpose, for example in 2007 the Central Valley Road was resurfaced for smoother vehicular access.

The original burial ground nearest the chapels has been listed as a Grade II landscape in the Register of Parks and Gardens of Historic Interest in recognition of the importance of this unique site in the heart of Plymouth. Further in on the site there is a less formal landscape with a softer country churchyard feel and some impressive views across the city.
